My New Tour for People Who Like Their History with a Drink!
If you’ve been on one of my London Herstory Walks, you’ll know I love digging into the rich, layered, and often overlooked stories of this city. Those walks aren’t going anywhere – they’re still very much alive and kicking.
But sometimes, I like my history served with a pint in hand, a cheeky grin, and a story that makes you snort-laugh in the middle of the street. That’s why I’ve created Rat Arsed London.
This is my tour for people who want the quirky, funny, and downright weird bits of London’s past – the scandals, the oddballs, the “wait, that really happened?!” moments – with a few stops in some of the oldest pubs in the city.
I’ll take you into those proper London boozers where the wood’s worn smooth by centuries of elbows, and the air smells faintly of beer, history, and stories that shouldn’t be repeated too loudly. Along the way, we’ll wander through hidden alleyways, stand on sites of duels, and meet characters that could never exist today (or at least, not legally).
This isn’t about getting wrecked – though if you fancy a couple of pints, you’ll be in good company. It’s about bonding over a drink, swapping a laugh or two, and seeing the city through the eyes of someone who genuinely loves its eccentricities.
So, if you’re fun, curious, and definitely not a dry old biscuit, Rat Arsed London is for you. Just bring comfy shoes, an open mind, and maybe don’t make any early-morning plans the next day.
Because history is always better when you’re sharing it over a drink.
